The iBoss Home provides flexibility to create different level of restrictions for users (teens vs. toddlers) while still allowing for adults to be bypassed from filtering rules.

Simply select which programs you wish to block or control time access to by choosing from predefined list. The iBoss inspects traffic utilizing advanced filtering to detect and control these programs and will restrict or block access based on user settings.

Enforce Safe Search on Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask and more

Search engines are a valuable tool for parents and kids but carry with it the potential for accessing unwanted content. Search engines incorporate safe search functions but unfortunately do not provide the ability to restrict from being disabled.  Simply selecting the ‘Safe Search Enforcement’ option, iBoss will automatically enable safe search should it be disabled.

Keyword Enforcement

Select from a predefined list of keywords (which can be edited) that represent potentially unwanted results. The iBoss will restrict access to any site containing any of these words as well as block any results from sites or searches where these words are entered.

Domain Extension Restriction

Limiting access to foreign and unknown domain extensions provide an instant barrier to foreign threats. Simply select the domain extensions you wish to allow or block and the iBoss will prevent access to these domains.

File Extension Protection

Restricting access to file extension and executables such as .exe and .tor,  parents can prevent accidental downloading of dangerous threats lurking on the Internet. The iBoss actively scans and protects against emerging threats.

Create a “Sleep” Schedule

Set up flexible schedules and determine when your kids are able to access the Internet.  The iBoss Home provides the ability to create different schedules for kids vs. teens while still allowing access to adults. Turn Internet access on and off throughout the day or week automatically.
